Welcome to the CfA / Antioch University summer programs at the High Mowing School campus in Wilton, New Hampshire. Below you’ll find housing and meal-plan rates by program, a sample kitchen menu, and everything you need for a comfortable stay on campus. Make your reservation using the button beneath the rates.
Village Housing is available for female students only this summer. On-campus housing for Week 1 (Renewal / Mentor Training) is full — email the office for a list of nearby community housing options, or to join the waitlist.
Important booking deadlines
As we approach the June 28, 2026 opening, we must submit room-and-board reservations with payment to our hosts at High Mowing School:
- Those already invoiced and booked must pay in full no later than June 15 — unpaid bookings become void after that date.
- New reservations are accepted through June 27, by credit card only (no checks).
- Dorm reservations close June 27; after that, meals are purchased on arrival at the dining-hall self-checkout kiosk.

- Day 1 lunch: quinoa, grilled chicken, grilled veggie medley, meatless sausage skillet, caper salsa verde, tzatziki, mixed-green salad bar ·dinner: gazpacho, caprese sandwich, salad bar

Welcome letter from our hosts
We are very pleased to welcome you to the High Mowing School campus. Founded in 1942 as a high school and merged with Pine Hill Waldorf School in 2017, HMS is home to over 340 students from preschool through grade 12, and remains the only boarding Waldorf school in North America.
Every summer, HMS rents its campus to the Center for Anthroposophy and transforms into the center for renewal and teacher training you are now attending. We are proud of our lasting ties with CfA, and grateful for the work you imbue our campus with during these weeks of study, conversation, and artistic expression.
The summer transformation requires a tremendous amount of additional work from our faculty, staff, and maintenance team, so on occasion construction or maintenance work may disrupt the calm HMS typically provides. HMS is a fully functioning school — not a conference center — and we do our very best to provide a pleasant stay within the limitations of a school campus. We thank you for treating our campus with the same care you extend your own school and home.

What’s provided, and what to bring
Your dorm room includes: a bed and desk, sheets, a blanket (extra on request), a pillow, a bath towel (not for the pool), and an overhead light.
You may wish to pack: a desk lamp, a fan, a swimsuit and beach towel (there’s a pool!), bug spray and tick repellent, sunscreen, and an umbrella.
Rooms are assigned by the CfA Housing Coordinator; floor plans are for illustration only.
Village housing
Village Housing sits on the right side of Pine Hill Drive, directly across Abbot Hill Road from High Mowing’s driveway — a quarter-mile, five-minute walk to the main building. View the Children’s Village map (PDF).
There are two buildings at the Village. Both provide sheets, blankets, and towels, a small bed light at each bed, three bathrooms (sink, toilet, shower), a kitchen (sink, refrigerator, microwave), and a common sitting area with school desks and a blackboard.
- Building #9 — 14 spaces: two rooms with one bunk bed each (2 spaces), one room with two bunk beds (4 spaces), one room with three bunk beds (6 spaces).
- Building #11 — 12 spaces: one room with two twin beds (2 spaces), one room with two bunk beds (4 spaces), one room with three bunk beds (6 spaces). No stove/oven use.
